Another glorious day with sixteen enjoying the sunshine. My 35 points was just enough to clinch first place over Peter Taylor's 34. Good news that Roy Williams and Willie Smith are in contact with Andrew Edwards who seems to have perked up and David McCrum, although not able to play yet has chauffeured (suffered) Alan Proud in a buggy. Mike Mapleton also made a welcome return last Tuesday.
Next Tuesday David Frith and Bob Finlinson hope to play the final of our championship and next Thursday we play our rearranged match against Brampton.
