Congratulations to John Wraight with an excellent winning 42 points. After yesterday at Workington I'm tempted to say "no flies on John".

A disappointing 3.5 - 5.5 loss today together with chaotic organisation and swarms of midges everywhere. On the bright side the course was in good condition, the weather held up and David and Octavia supplied a superb meal.

Seascale Match Result

Seascale's two victories included a win by one of the pairings we loaned them resulting in a 5 - 2 win for the Sandpipers.

Please have another look at the team selection for Workington where the start time has been amended.

I've adjusted the intervals to eight minutes and hope that they stick to their usual arrangement of starting the last three matches at the 17th tee. Keep an eye out for any further amendments that we haven't been made aware of as well as the one where we were expected to raise a team of twenty.
