24 Sandpipers competed for the Walters Cup which by common consent was changed from a greensome to 4BBB format on the day.
43 points from Roger Cutts, partnered by Malcolm Donald won the day, with 3 other pairs close behind on 42.
Conditions were classified as good with the fairways rock solid.

Brampton Result

Another good performance by the Sandpipers at home with a 5-1/2 to 2-1/2 win in breezy conditions that got quite cloudy at one stage.
Once again we had a superb meal afterwards and our captain of the day recited a golfing poem lifted from a s***house door in Ireland.
We're all looking forward to the return match on Wednesday 14th July.

John Norton Cup

Congratulations to Brian Taylor whose 40 points just edged out Grant Anderton.
The new sweaters and shirts have arrived and will be available for collection before our match with Brampton tomorrow.

Maryport Match Result

The Sandpipers came back to winning form with an 8 - 2 win on a scorching hot afternoon. Both teams had a full compliment of players.

Tuesday 15th June

The Carrick Trophy was played for in breezy but sunny conditions by 22 Sandpipers.
Joe Campbell's 40 points gave a well deserved win, just pipping Brian Taylor by a better back six.
