Tuesday 30th January

John Parker thought he had come second but he correctly and graciously handed over that honour and the money to Harry Wright who had 36 points. This meant that Harry went from thinking he was getting two shots back to losing two for 2nd (24 to 22).

Meanwhile Bob Finlinson ran away with 1st as his very impressive  putting saw him reach 39 points. Bob went down from 17 to 13.

The sunny weather attracted 27 players today but we all found the breeze and cold towards the end of the day a challenge.

Thursday 18th January

The answer to Howards WhatsApp question , "is anybody playing today?" was 16.  Winter Course offered a luck of the draw bounce and putting experience as usual but in glorious sunshine. We were honoured by a fly past from Millburn Aviation to add further entertainment. Three people had 43 points - Brian Taylor won - 10 to 8 and Gilmour McKellar 2nd - 15 to 14.
