Powfoot Match Result

Ideal sunny weather for our match with the Otters and a good 5.5 - 2.5 win under the captaincy of Grant Anderson. The course was in good condition and a choice of dishes for every taste at the meal afterwards.

Tuesday 18th July

Steaming hot for most of the day with twenty two competing for the late John Eilbeck Trophy.
Sandy Tonner came out on top with 37 points followed by Andy Edwards with 36.

Workington Match Result

Unfortunately Workington gave us the "Christmas Turkey" treatment winning 7.5 to 2.5 and retaining the Shanks Trophy by 12 games to 8.

Twenty one enjoyed good conditions, Andy Edwards coming second with 37 points and Joe Campbell getting his wings clipped by five shots for a winning score of 41 points.
Thursday is our home match against Seascale.

Brampton Match Result

A much closer result than the home encounter but at 4.5 - 3.5 to the Sandpipers a win is still a win. The course was well presented, the meal very good and luckily the early low clouds lifted to give pleasant conditions.
