Powfoot Match Result

Our first away match against Powfoot was played in dismal conditions but a 5.5 - 2.5 win made it a worthwhile trip.

Next Tuesday is the Ronnie Thompson Trophy which is our only medal competition.

Brampton v Sandpipers Result

The Curlews were too strong on their home patch winning 5.5 - 2.5 in miserable wet conditions but an overall win 9.5 - 6.5 to the Sandpipers.
Numbers for our regular Tuesday and Wednesday competitions have fallen dramatically, partly due to some medical problems.
I understand that John Tudor is making steady progress after his op but Willie Smith's injury due to his mishap on the 18th is worse than first thought. Sandy Tonner is consulting a specialist in Glasgow and Eddie Varah is booked in for a course of hospital treatment.
Next Thursday is our home match against Seascale and the team will be published here over the weekend.
