Tuesday 27th January

Changeable conditions today but not too bad. Bruce Bedford won with 37 points and myself second with 36, one shot better than John Tudor on the back nine count back.
Another good crowd of twenty three with most relaxing and supporting the club in the lounge afterwards.

Thursday 22nd January

Another remarkably calm and warm afternoon with seventeen competing.
Robin Binny came out on top with 43 points followed by Gerry Fisher one point behind.

Tuesday 20th January

Early morning chill gave way to sunny and calm conditions on the short course today.
Nineteen turned out which gave Brian Taylor a nice lift for his 45 points. Alan Proud talked his way into second place with 41.

Bad Weather

Poor prospects for Thursday again but I understand some (fool)hardy individuals braved Tuesday's winds.
One of our former members arrived in the lounge for a meal as part of his 81st birthday celebrations and I'm sure we all wish Stuart Jones many happy returns.

Thursday 8th January

Thirteen made the most of today's difficult conditions assuming that from the weather forecast we won't be getting much golf in before next week.
Eddie Varah's 32 points winning score cost him a couple of shots and I was careless enough to come in second.

A chilly start to the new year, but not cold enough to put off twenty three hopefuls.
Joe Campbell got off to a winning start with 36 points followed by Tom Neilly one point behind.
