Seascale Match Result

Conditions humid with rain showers.

Captained by Roy Williams the Sandpipers fielded 8 pairs against Seascale.

Barry Bower was unable to make it, so Mrs Wilson kindly agreed to let Trevor play as long as he won and did not have to pay a £1.

The Sandpipers responded well to Roy's leadership and turned in a resounding 7- 1 victory. We will not name the couple who let Roy down (one was a Dr. and the other a fast talking Scotsman).

Again an excellent meal was provided by David & Octavia.

Thankfully the nerve trapped in my spine has been released which means I can now use my left arm again, although I probably won't be playing golf for the next few days.
