A Timely Reminder

After your comment on the blog looking for news. Was wondering if it was worth reminding Sandpipers about “Speed of Play” as we are at that time of year again when the light goes very quickly in the afternoon, and those out towards the back end of the field struggle to complete their round. It’s important that all players are mindful of this and keep moving at a reasonable pace.
Cheers
Trevor

Allonby Road Diversion Signs:
After making extensive (and expensive) enquiries in the local hostelries it appears that the diversion signs refer to the closure of the Allonby to Westnewton road which shouldn't affect anyone travelling to Silloth from Maryport..
I'll make further enquiries tomorrow to confirm this so "watch this space".
