Thursday 25th November

The temperature managed to climb to 2.0C but the biting north wind made it feel colder.
Thirteen of us played on temporary greens with my 39 points taking the £7.80p pot, squeezing out Geoff Scott on count back.
Geoff Waite has a list prepared for pre ordering our meals for the social on December 14th.
The menu is a choice between Soup, Duck Pate or Garlic Mushrooms for starter and Turkey or Roast Beef main course. Please add your choices as soon as possible.

Tuesday 2nd November

Fifteen Sandpipers teed off into a howling wind, hoping to beat the forecast rain by playing 'Speed Golf'.
Fortunately the rain only started after we had all negotiated the 13th. Unfortunately it was horizontal.
Brian Taylor returned a creditable 30 points playing off 7 (now 5) with Roger Cutts turning up late and claiming 2nd prize.
