Thursday 30th May

20 took part today. Thanks go to Joe Campbell for stepping in when the computer screen would not permit all scores to be input. The final results are visible in the link opposite "Thursday League 1-10" and are the start of our Summer comp which takes us to the 30th August to complete. Congratulations also go to Joe Campbell for coming second with 33 points. Dave Atherton shone by winning by 4 clear points. I understand the weather was favourable but I believe the stamina and spirits of some, after their away day to Scotland yesterday, were at a low ebb.

Tuesday 25th May

First time for a while we had a day out just playing to Sandpiper handicaps. Twenty four played in bright conditions that clouded over and turned windy. Tommy Neilly blew the field away  with 44 points (36 - 29) with David Blain's 37 (18 - 16) second beating Gilmour on countback. Thursday is reserved for our home match against Workington.

Sorry everyone belated report. 

Congratulations Sandpipers Team, brilliant away win 6 to 2 continuing our great start to the match season. Pleasant weather conditions and an improving course, nice meal, and a win what more could you want? but overall a good day out. Next match just around the corner, Workington at home, always a tight match which will test our winning ways, Team sheet on Noticeboard, hopefully no more amendments. Once again great win guys well done.
