Hopefully I've got this right as I went home before the result was declared.
First place to Jeff Smith with 40 points followed by Edward Harle with 37.
Twenty one members played.

Tuesday 15th February

Not the weather to be standing about in but all the twenty one who started made it to the finishing post.
In spite of the strong (and cold) wind Tom Neilly's creditable 39 points took first prize, one ahead of fellow countryman Joe Campbell in second place.

Thursday 10th February

Only the second week in February and today the twenty eight of us that turned out had warm sunshine and virtually no breeze.
For the second time this week the last fourball provided both winner and runner up, Eddie Varah on 38 and Jeff Smith one behind on 37.

Tuesday 8th February

Conditions didn't seem too difficult today for the field of twenty nine but my 34 points was enough to take first prize with playing partner Grant Anderson's 33 coming second on a back 6 countback.
I'm reliably informed that a certain Sandpiper was given a lift home last week and insisted on putting on his jacket before getting out in the pouring rain. This caused him great difficulty trying to exit the car, and his driver, who was sworn to secrecy, was laughing so much that it took a little while for him to point out that his seat belt was still fastened.
No prizes for guessing the culprit!

Thursday 3rd February

It must have been difficult today as David Low's 31 points beat the other seventeen scores. Recently returned David Barnes came second with thirty points.
Irene is back home now so things should get back to normal soon.
She is very complimentary about the treatment she received at the Freeman.

Tuesday 1st February

Trevor Wilson has penned the results of today’s bash, in mainly sunny but breezy conditions and reasonable temperatures for February, Robin Binny was 1st with 36 pts and John Tudor 2nd with 35 pts, 28 played.
Thank you everyone who has been in touch with concerns about Irene's health.
I found out tonight that the doctors hope to resolve any problems over the next couple of days and when I visited this afternoon she was in good spirits.
